Single Or Dual Channel?

Should I go for 8GB or 16GB RAM for designing graphics using software such as AutoCAD, 3D Max and Photoshop as well as single or dual channel?

I'd look towards 16gb myself for that, your motherboard should automatically do dual channel when you put two sticks in. I think your unlikely to find 16gb sticks so you'll have two 8s.

Not necessarily, you may have to put them in specific slots to enable dual channel
