hi il hopefully be getting a new rig soon and currently have a 47" lcd tv as my monitor (might be a bit to big) going to be doing computing and IT degree after summer and was wondering what might be better the one big monitor or getting 2 smaller ones like the AOC G2460FQ 24" Widescreen 144Hz 1ms Gaming LED Monitor?

Dual monitors are one of those things you don't think you'll need until you have dual running. Then you can very rarely go back to one as it comes in useful a lot.
You wouldn't need two 144hz monitors however, just one to game on and the other for internet / netflix etc.

If your doing 1 x 144hz monitor and 1 x 60hz monitor, plug the 144hz in with display port and your 60hz in with either hdmi or dvi on your first card.
If i try plugging a monitor into each card it will not allow me to turn SLI on until i've got all monitors on my first.

This is the 140/240hz monitor I have and that did come with a DP cable.
