Single Rose

I could do that... but I plan to buy one for two girls in the house, so I rather not be there... its more of a friendship rose than a Valentines Day rose. Also it would take me around 45 mins on the bus to get to their place in the morning... effort :p

Ive just realised, that although the rose is pretty good value, for something that looks decent, it will be delivered in a Tesco Van won't it?

From the Tesco page linked to in this thread...

Delivery information

Order by Midnight Fri 10th February for delivery from 7th February to 14th February. The exact day of delivery for Flowers by Post cannot be guaranteed.

Sounds to me like they'll use regular post, probably cheaper for them than running their van somewhere for such a small order.

To the person...
*knock knock*
"Yes?"
"Excuse me madam, I'm from Tesco. Someone has ordered this red rose for you"
"Oh, how sweet of him"
"Also, here is the vaseline, cucumber, whipped cream, pregnancy test and sleeping tablets they also bought. Have a nice day."

I'm doing this thing at school, a valentines rose delivery service. It's amazing when you find out the price jack up they do. We got our roses for 75p each and the flower shop get them for about 50p each then put £7 on them for some pretty paper and a ribbon. My advice local florist.

Also the downside was going to the school office, finding out each class's timetable... and then going round to find each person to deliver them.

Anyways, I have just ordered 2 of the Tescos Roses... for 2 special girls! I have not put my name on them, but since they live in the same house, they will know it was from me!
