When using two sticks of DDR400 double sided memory my motherboard (Asus K8N-E socket 754) will only run at DDR333. To run at full speed (DDR400) two sticks of single sided memory are needed or just a single stick of double sided memory.

Can anyone explain this to me and recommend some 512MB single sided sticks to replace the memory I currently have?

Thanks :)

Single sided 512mb modules are few and far between, single sided means they have the chips down one side of the PCB.

The best bet would be to get a single 1Gb module if your budget will stretch that far.
