whats the best single slot card out atm

dont mind used its going to replace my ageing 8800gt in my shuttle

any ideas?

Not sure about the Nvidia camp but the 5770/6770 are single slot AMD. I think there's also a slightly faster 6850 too.

6850 would be a significant step up. The 5770 would still be faster just not as much.
