How is your time split?

Back a few years ago I was almost 100% multi player, mainly MMO's. As with most multi player games, you really need to play them almost consistently if you want to be competitive. It wasn't until I stepped away from that scene, that I realised how many good single player games I had missed out on.

Now I've become almost hermit-like! My time is more limited than it was before anyway, but it's now about 90% single play as I just don't want to devote so much time to one game when there are so many other titles I want to experience.

I've never been a fan of multi player with the exception of Fifa, I like to play single I never touch the multilayer on my games..

Apart from FIFA local multiplayer, I'm almost exclusively single player at the moment, as I work my way through the games I accumulated during the Steam sales - Max Payne 3, Dishonoured, Far Cry 3, Tomb Raider, Sniper Elite V2, and Skyrim. And my continuing attempt to lead Baktria to world domination in Rome 2.

I would play more multiplayer, but Battlefield 4 is not worthy of my time.

Like a lot of things, multiplayer gaming is now mainstream is it is probably the main selling point of game. It has gone mainstream. With that has come companies that only see $$$$$$, a community that is now non-existent, and a player base that is juvenile at best.

I'm pretty much the same I was soley multiplayer but now dont touch it that much. A step into BF4 and I see why. I'll stick to my single player.

And don't get me started on what Activision have done to Call of Duty. If there is a story on how a gaming has changed for the worse in the last 10 years then that is it.

Used to be 90% mp when I was in clans for mohaa/cods but now its a mix but I still prefer mp but have less time now so sometimes sp fits well. id love to play competitively again but just for fun mp is enough and dayz gives a very very similar feeling to a match winning round in a cod match for that very tense feeling.

Goes in waves.

These days 80% multiplayer (BF4) but for the previous several months it was all single-player (including playing stuff like Path of Exile, which is always online, as a single-player game without interacting with other players at all). Also currently in the multiplayer bracket is working through Lego Star Wars with the Mrs.

Once I tire of BF4 I'm sure I'll go back and replay Dishonored some more, finish Mafia 2, finish The Last of Us etc etc.

75-25 in favour of singleplayer.

I'm an old school gamer, I prefer to duke it out with the developer's vision but some MP games are just too good to pass. Borderlands 2, BF BC2, LoL come to mind.

I used to play multiplayer 95% of the time (css, lol, dota2)

Over the past 3months have mostly been playing singleplayer and bought a lot of singleplayer games over christmas. (probably 95%-100% singleplayer)

I will probably go back to multiplayer in a few months but there will be a more even split with all the singleplayer games I've bought.

The only reason I'm not playing multiplayer is that I've got bored of a lot of games :(

I had a month or so where I was trying to find a good MMO (tried rift, tera, gw2, neverwinter) but ended up going back to dragon age origins.

Only multiplayer game I play at the moment is UT2004

I managed to prize myself away from WoW in 2012 and I haven't looked back since!

80% multiplayer although its been lower than that when bf4 first came out (crashes etc)

Just find jumping in a game with online friends playing against other people to be more entertaining. Still enjoying Bioshock Infinite at the moment but if anyone is on bf4 it doesn't get a look in.

It depends entirely on the game. Forza is 90% online. Whereas FIFA is 80% offline, and most of the 20% is friends only.

On the whole I guess it's about 30% multiplayer.
