Going to be buying parts in 10 days, / end of month when fat pay packet comes in.

Already have 2x 24" IPS creens,

PC is for triple 24" gaming, Arma 2 etc..may start off as a single 24" screen system.. ie: 1x580 super clocked, then water cool this card well so get ultimate performance then install second gpu to drive all three screens?

Fed up with un-responsive PC, want a highly responsive PC that is able to game, into deep heavy games that take you away to another place like Arma 2, and others, perfer nvidia over AMD although more than prepared to install some AMD cards if agreed this is the right move here.

Have a year of good work ahead of me, big pay paypacket end of month, side business is going ok, have Ipad 2 to sell.. neverious about water cooling.

Would like to order as much from OC but prepared to go to other vendors.

last point was drawn to the 700d now its not available I have no idea on what case to go for.

External water cooling is acceptable.

Hold 3 years electonics certs, 15 years computer experience so I can install a PCI card..:-)

2x GPU (con·ten·tious)
Point of View 3GB GeForce GTX 580 Ultra Charged NVIDIA Graphics Card

Case Unknown
Please recommend.

System Board
Gigabyte GA-Z68X-UD7-B3 Intel Z68 Express Socket 1155 Motherboard ?

Do we go with this system board here, budget £300, possible tri SLI install required "maybe", whats the best sandy bridge system board ?

CPU:
Intel CPU Core i5 2500K Unlocked Sandy Bridge Quad Core Processor OEM

Soild selection, will be over clocked to 4.5ghz

Ram:
Corsair Memory Dominator Blue 8GB DDR3 1600 MHz CAS 8 XMP DHX Dual Channel Desktop

Dont need 12gb, 8gb of quality 1600 cas memory should be fine ?

Corsair CMPSU-1200AXUK Professional Series Gold AX1200 1200W Modular Power Supply

More than enough power to drive 3x 580GTX if that should come to be required.

SSD:
OCZ Technology 120GB Vertex 3 MAX IOPS SSD

Storage:
Already have 2x250GB Sata II drives.

Plenty of space for Windows 7 and at least two or three games on C:

CPU cooler
Unknown.

GPU coller.

Hi and welcome to the forum.

I'll just say that if you plan on water cooling the GPU's you need to make sure that you get cards which have a suitable water block.

A lot of non-reference design cards won't have a full cover block available.

The POV/TGT GeForce GTX 580 BEAST / 3072 MB / Watercooled is £716.

The Point of View 3GB GeForce GTX 580 Ultra Charged NVIDIA Graphics Card is £515.50 Inc VAT..

I am happy to bite the bullet and lay out big money on a GPU but I need to understand what I back it up with, an internal water cooling system, do I go for a H80 for the CPU and a seperate system for the CPU.

What is the best water cooling kit for a big case that could deal with the CPU and GPU here.

This is why im trying to start off with one GPU and progress the build rather than smashing it all in one go.

How hard is it to put a water cooled system together? say I get one 580 and cool it via water, is it then an easy process to insert a second 580gtx into the loop.

Is there any money to be saved by getting a standard gtx580 and buying a water block for it and then over clocking it keeping it under 50 etc.

Im just not sure what to do but im going to be ordering thats for sure, I just dont want to do any damge to my build.

Also last point is im happy to hold off on the GPUs and just get the system together (with a water cooling sys in place ready for gpu) since I use my pc for home works etc.. so gaming is secondary, but I want to be able to game.

I have a decent keyboard, mouse, 2x24, fatality x-fi, some storage drives, I now need a proper rig.

There's no easy way to add components to a water cooled system.

You'd need to drain, re-plumb and refill.

If you plan on using 3 monitors with Nvidia then you need to have at least 2 GPU's in SLI.

You can't run 3 monitors off a single GPU with Nvidia.

These all report to have 3gb.

Link to common gtx580 3gb removed due to brown shirts.

Putting the GPU to the side here, I think its wise to go gtx580, or be it x2, but regarding the acutal build , its my impression that if I go that little bit extra regarding cooling, IE: I water cool the gpus, and as a secondary the CPU (which could be off its own h100, h80?, or main water system) I will realize a much more capable system.

whats the alternative, I get a 650d for example and try to cram in 2xgtx580 cooled on air, on a Asus Maximus IV Gene-Z with an over clocked SB at 4.5ghz on a h60?

So far Ive sussed it out that I go for
120gb oz v3 max io drive.
1.2kw psu.
gtx580, then x2 580 , and maybe a third.

I used to think the 800d was the bees nees but im not so sure.

Ive actually got a cooler master elite in my garage that is no good to any one, it just highlights that for the system im going to put together Im going to need a lot of space in there so cases like the 650 or even the SilverStone FT02B are not going to cut it.

Im rambling but im looking forward to building this system I already have two decent monitors I could go cheap(er) on the third.

I want to be blow away in visionals and sound, I already have a fatality xi fi.

If any one has any comments please go right ahead and tell me, if I need to spend 2, 3k here tell me straight and tell me the parts I need,

That said i dont want to waste money..

What is the best water cooling case ? What is the best water cooling kit?

Yes remove that link to a competitor. It's against forum rules.

All GTX 590's have 3GB of VRAM but they are made up of 2 GPU's with 1.5GB each so effectively you only have 1.5GB.

It's just like having two 1.5GB cards but they're on 1 PCB.

when i joined the forums, i actually read the forum rules , do the new ones these days just register and post away?

excuse me whilst you have a book burning star of david beating session, if im up for it ill join you guys later on but if we could keep it on topic just for now

I work 10 hour days and have very little time to waste doing things which are not dirrectly related to my current or near term goals.

If you have the time to read licenses in full I am VERY envious of your time management.

Also for ref, its VERY easy to put an auto domain url detection script in a posting forum and make HELPFULL suggestions to MEMBERS, Im here as a guest... you listen to me not the other way round.

This site and this Business is here to my MY LIFE easier not the other round.

thats a very important point to understand.

if any one has any recommendations for my build and if its allowed? please post links to oc parts.

thanks..

You seem to be under a misapprehension.

It's not OcUK staff here replying but PC users like yourself.

Just like you we have jobs to go to and other things we could be doing with our time.

So the comments in your last few posts are ill directed, and possibly insulting to those of us who take time out of our day to try and be of assistance.

Making comments like the ones you have will soon erode the goodwill of the forum users.

And we point out the forum rules so that you can avoid getting suspended or banned before you've even got started.

I suggest you read the FAQ before making further posts.

as you said,
I work 10 hour days and have very little time to waste doing things which are not dirrectly related to my current or near term goals.

this forum was designed so that people could help each other with their general pc problems, we are not here to serve "guests" like you, as Surveyor said, we told you to remove the link as it was against forum rules, which you clearly didnt read.
