Right, I just had a test with them. I can only compare them to the PS2 SingStar mics.
They actually feel really good in the hand. Nice and weighty. It is REALLY nice having no wires on them. They are easy to set up, although I was dissapointed they were not bluetooth. Instead you have a little USB receiver to plug in, but this is really easy to do and much easier than having wires everywhere.
They are easy to set up. Plug the receiver in, put some batteries in the mic (2 x AA - Supplied with these test units) and switch them on by pushing the power button up and holding for a second. You can 'lock' them, I assume this means they don't turn off by accident. Turning them off simply requires a similar motion to turning them on.
The range is very good, I went about 20ft away and they were still working.
In game they work as you would expect, very good and just as the wired SingStar mics.
