sinking a pc into a desk

has anyone had any experience in this? anything to watch out for? any hints/tips/suggestions?

i have a desk very similar to this, with different legs and no back piece against the wall

going for this kind of look in the center of the desk

Easy enough to do really, just got to have a better desk, as your desk is probably a laminated plastic stuff on top of chipboard. When you open it up, its gonna look poor. That one pictured, at least, looks like solid wood. h

There has been a few desk builds on here,have a google and you will find quite a few.
