Sinnis Apache or Yamaha YBR

In a bit of a problem.
Went to a local dealer the other day to have a nosey around bikes.
Sinnis Apache
£1800 for brand new.
£550 p/y, £300+ compulsory excess
YBR
£1800 used 2006 model with 6000 miles
£300 p/y £200+ compulsory excess

The YBR is an older bike which worries me.

If you have that sort of budget, get a Honda Varadero 125. The biggest/most powerful 125, and will also hold it's value very well. I bought mine for £1700 in April with 11k on the clock, I've done 6k and expect to get the same back if I sell privately in the next few months.

I have no want or need for a "big bike"
I liked the apache as its nice and light feels nice but insurance kills it....
Also my bike selection is kinda limited think they have a honda 125 cbr there as-well for a similar price.

Yes, because as others have said you'll basically get back what you paid for it when it comes to sale time.

Thing is you can get a brand new one for like £2300-2600
I don't think its worth buying a used one for so much when you can get used ones for as little as £1200 else where.

Nevermind with the ybr, it has rust, scratches, dents etc when I had a good look at it.
Just not worth it for £1500.
There is not much selection anywhere near me (within 100miles)
