Sins of a Solar Empire mods

I've just gotten my hands on this, any must have mods? Just graphical ones preferably for a start. I'd like to play the vanilla game before I start messing around with it.

the recent 1.1 patch broke compatibility with a lot of mods and has left us waiting for them to be updated.

there is a good looking halo mod called 'sins of the prophets' thats in the works, looks like it could be a great mod for any halo fans, like myself
