RIP Simon Templar, Brett Sinclair, James Bond, three of the best Spy and adventure characters ever created and Sir Roger brought them all to life in his own inimitable way. He was a genuine wit and an utter chap, one of the last of a dyeing breed :(

RIP Sir Roger. He was my favourite Bond too. Thanks to my dad I have seen him The Saint and The Persuaders. Was on watching The Man with The Golden Gun last Sunday.

Loved him in Cannonball Run playing a guy who was pretending to be Roger Moore.

'I think hes attempting re-entry sir' :D

RIP Sir Roger Moore :(
A classic one-liner :D

This is from his autobiography too, which I feel summed him up his attitude.

"You gotta love livin’, kid. Because dyin’s a pain in the ass"

When I first heard the sad news, that was the one that sprang to mind to watch tonight.

Whilst I'm not a fan of the honours system, Sir Roger was deserved of the title to it's fullest. Not only an icon of British at it's bloody best on screen, but one of the most commendable of human beings for his work with unicef.

A sad loss.

Under the hot sun.
RIP to a nice man, a good actor and having read couple of his biographies, an exceptional gentleman.

Is only one of a half dozen of famour/actors/singers who I will ever be sad and emotional of their passing. Christopher Lee and George Michael were the other two.
The other three still with us.
