Been to my sisters today to attempt to fix her PC. She told me it stopped booting after she moved it forward a few inches....
When it boots it doesn't even get as far as detecting the HDD's
It does however show the Energy Solutions logo, identify the processor (with CPUID) and then freezes completely
Pressing anything on the keyboard results in a big nothing although it does offer the options of <Del> for Bios, <F12> for boot menu.
The only thing left to do at this point is power off.
I have tried resetting BIOS via the mobo jumper, running 1 stick of RAM in all 4 slots and still nothing. I had to leave at that point and have brought the machine home to try other things.
Any suggestions on what to try?
Spec:
A64 3500+ Winnie
1GB Geil Value RAM
GeForce 6600GT
Gigabyte mobo (don't know the model) AGP 939 though.
