Hi all wonder if you can have a look at Browne Plastering for me and give me feedback on design and code.

It's a freebie for someone's 30th birthday so not put *too* much time into it.

TIA

Steve.

Oh and does anyone know why the java mouseover opacity doesn't work in Firefox?

i like it, nice and simple.

I didn't bother looking at the code though as there no point as it works fine so sure code must be good.

weird that the JS doesn't work in FF as its really nicce in IE and is needed as its hard to tell they are links, just look like a list and part of the image.

Someone will surely know why, though a quick google produced this. dont know if its any help to ya.

While the graphic elements are simple and professional, I reckon some realignment would make it a lot better; definitely reduce header height (pretty much having to scroll to see content is a usability hindrance) and make it fluid as well as wider.

Thanks for replies - yep was definitely thinking about the header size - will probably move the address and contact details and shrink the top bar.

There won't be too much content on the site so was a bit wary of making it fluid just in case it looked really sparse on higher res but will bear it in mind.

Any other comments anyone?

Thanks :)

I think it looks nice expect for the res of the banner. It would look better to have the address etc in text so it isn't as blurry.
