Siteground WP site slow, recommend another host?

Hello
I've got a Wordpress site, but I'm having issues with my hosts siteground. I'm getting notifications of the webpage going down at random times during the day (every day) and the site is slow at responding.

So that being said, can anyone recommend a host which can provide speed and uptime?

- It's only to host 1x WP site, with less than 25k visitors (but growing).
- The package with site ground I have is "GrowBig plan"

Vidahost or tsohost come highly reccomended here. Cheaper than site ground as well.

Personally I'm using eleven2 100% uptime for the past 7 months but I'm switching to TSOhost come contract end. Only because they moved my UK VPS to a datacenter in Germany

Vidahost gets the vote from me. Great customer service and the hosting is great.

Also as a side note, how many plugins do you run? It well could be a badly written plugin that is causing slowdowns.
