Basically our networks class was divided into three groups. Each group would have 1 lab session, then three weeks later they would hand a report in for that lab. As there were three groups, the hand in date was staggered by a week. Now I could not make my scheduled first lab, so I went to the second. The problem is now I've been told I have to hand my work in for my original labs hand-in date as it would be "unfair" otherwise. But how is this unfair? That's a weeks loss I've been given...? I've e-mailed the guy asking for the extension but I really don't think he will comply. I just don't understand how he could think there was an advantage to it.

Basically last year people turned up to which session they could. Most people just went to which they preferred. This time my mates were separated, so I went to their group (there is absolutely NO difference in which session you go to as we didn't use equipment so there wouldn't be any problem that side, as we just listened to a guy speaking).

Jesus guys, wtf is up with you? There is NO difference in what lab you go to. Why SHOULD I be punished? I have no advantage?

THEY ARE ALL THE SAME LAB.

They are just a repeat.

The lab is repeated three times. That is it.

But the fact is NO ONE EVER CARES. Nobody EVER goes to the lab they should, which mostly I DO. So why should I be screwed for doing it once?

Edit: MOT Because he said "oh you weren't here last week..."

No. I have to hand my work in a week earlier as I switched over groups. Guys - you are missing the point, if nobody ever did this - I'd probably agree, but the fact it's ALWAYS done is what's annoying.
