Mine has just broke the spring on the R2 button has snapped.

Time to buy a Dualshock I guess, but anyone know where ya can buy the springs at all? looked on the bay but refuse to pay 10 quid lol

nope none on there, I have my dualshock now, but will keep an eye out for busted ones to salvage from

The Button still works it just wont spring back into place so is useable but annoying

Has the spring definitely snapped? Or has it just pinged off? I had a PS2 controller where the spring became dislodged. Took it apart and fixed it easy enough.

yeah its snapped, it went loose so i opened the controller up and it fell out in two parts Ill keep an eye out for a spares or repair one.

Like I say its still useable so will let my mates use it when we play multiplayer. Handicap pad

I know nothing about the interior of pads, but what type of spring is it? Surely just buying a reasonably sized spring at a DIY shop and cutting it down to size would do the trick?

A model shop may be a better bet?

Got any local shops that do RC stuff?
