SIXAXIS controller light???

Hi People

The other night I was watching a recording of the Gadget Show form the other week and they were doing some game machine testing.
The thing is when they were using the PS3 it looked as if the SIXAXIS controller's PS ( system on/off ) button had a red glow form behind it. Is this normal :confused:

. Got my PS3 last week and my controller doesn't have one.

Mine doesnt have one either. From the thread title I was thinking you were on about the weight. Overall I am dissapointed with the ps3 controller, it feels really cheap and the plastic feels like it would just shatter with any force.

I think they removed it to cut costs.

Anyway, if you search, there is an easy mod floating around to put your own led in if you feel adventurous.

I'd expect these missing touches to make an appearance in SIXAXIS Rumble.

they took out a small led to save costs? so like 2p per every controller, they must be struggling :S

True, I read the other day that the gaming division in sony posted half a billion dollars loss.
