Old news for some I'm sure (hopefully not most!) but I've just got my PS3 joypad working on the PC via Bluetooth. Thought Id share incase it helps someone else.

PC joy pads are rubbish (im sure there's exceptions however for £££££ :o )
Wired console pads on PC's are old news and, well 'wirey' :p
This rocks and is cheap/free.

You need:

Motion Joy drivers (the x64 ones are signed!) :

A Bluetooth dongle (£2 if you haven't already got a spare)

PS3 pad.

Its not quite 'plug and play', but other than that the whole experience was nothing but win for me
Im no longer limited to FPS on the PC (not that that would be such a bad thing IMO!)

Retail alternatives are a 360 pad + microsofts own dongle for this very purpose. This ment spending money for me, so I went for the PS3 option :p prefer the SIXAXIS pad anyway.

Have fun :)

I took delivery of a brand new black wired 360 controller this morning for £14.49, I've tried the DS3 on PC and it really isn't worth the effort and tbh it's not that great on the PS3. 360 Controller all the way :)

I loved the PS controller a couple of years ago. When I moved to PC gaming I didn't like the 360 controller, but sucked it up and got used to it. Now I don't like using PS controllers :p They're too small for my fairly large hands and the triggers on the 360 controller are brilliant.

Too simple to use the xbox 360 pad. No installing and you will never beat on-screen button prompts. Also every game is going to be "so button 2 is 'x' button 4 is 'o' etc etc
