Im looking at changing my monitor setup. Currently got 2 24icn 1080p screens one 144hz the othe just 60

I want to move to a single monitor setup, with a KVM and USB-C PD 65W for the work laptop. I work from home and game on my desktop in the evenings and its becoming a pain swapping between the 2

For gaming im not too concerned with real estate more interested in 120hz+

For work is the other way round.

Has anyone gone from a dual 24 to a single something and what size did you go for? would a 38 ultrawide be enough or should I look at one of the giant 49inchers?

Cost is obviously getting expensive at the top end of the 49ers so whats the smallest I could go without feeling like Ive lost out on desktop size?

Would like to avoid oled if possible, 9-10 hours a day 2-3 days a week with web browsers and spreadsheets open will destroy oled I suspect. Love it for the TV downstairs though

Plus I cant see anything related to USB-C PD

Maybe you should go somewhere
That you can see different size monitors in person
To get a better idea what size you need?

Some prices are coming down though
Just got a mini led monitor
Built in kvm and usb-c charging for £500
Only a 27 inch though which is probably smaller
Than what you want

I just couldn't justify the price difference
For oled sadly
Plus the worry of burn in
Only seems dell that offer warranty that covers burn in
