Bit of an odd one this...
I started jogging at the beginning of Jan but after a couple of weeks of 4/5 times a week my knees were really hurting. I'm 6'5 and weigh about 15 stone which I'm told isn't the best weight to put on long legs when running on concrete.
So I left it a week or two but have this evening been running at my local park. The best lit part was the football pitch which I ran the perimeter of 5 times, by which time I was knackered.
I'd like to know the average size (length and width) of a footie pitch so I can get an idea of how far I'm running if I try to do as many laps as possible say 3 times a week.
