SK hynix Gold P31 Low Speeds on New Build

Hi, getting low speeds with SK hynix Gold P31 on a new AMD Ryzen build...


Specs:

• AMD Ryzen 5 5600G
• Gigabyte B550M Aorus Pro
• 16GB (2 x 8GB) Team T-FORCE VULCAN Z DDR4 3200
• 1 x 500GB SK hynix Gold P31 NVMe M.2 SSD
• 1 x 500GB SK hynix Gold S31 SATA SSD
• 2 x 2TB Western Digital Green WD20EZRX SATA HDDs
• Seasonic M12II 520W PSU

All mobo drivers, SK hynix Drive Manager are installed and Windows 10 is up-to-date.

Tried both m2 slots ?

I can try but it's installed in the M.2 Socket 3 (M2A_CPU) that's integrated in the CPU

Any firmware update for the m2 ?

Randoms are exactly what can be expected.
But sequentials are like it would be in PCIe x2 mode.
Maybe tool of Hynix could tell something.

Firmware is up to date. But yes, it's stuck in PCIe 3.0 x2 mode...


Tried changing PCIEX16 Bifurcation in the BIOS but still the same.

Correct transfer mode



Cleared CMOS & "re-sat" the NVMe M.2 SSD & seems to have fixed it.
