Skate 2 announced

Hope up and then shattered.

This is for a Skate spin-off that will be released on the other formats that Skate didn't appear on by the looks of it.

Though right at the bottom it says

Separately, Skate 2 is also in development for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. So if you're not a Wii or DS owner, don't feel too dejected. Your blood, sweat and tears will soon be demanded by the series again.

sweet! having skateboarded when i was a little younger the game was great to play. hope this one adds getting of your board and climbing up to spots to hit tricks from.
 
one of the best games of last year, can't wait for the new one, need's a few new tweaks though I'd have to play it again to remember the small flaws
 
Hopefully in the new ones for the current gen consoles you'll be able to get off your board, a few new grinds and better challenges.

Yeah looking at my post again I maybe should have made things a bit clearer.

I'm hopeful that they will add in a few more moves as well, although I don't want things getting too tricky as I found the control scheme excellent in the first one.
