Hi guys iv started playing skate2 im around 7-8 hours in to it and finding it realy dam hard lol. Has any one got some tips on moves or anything to help me???

practice practice and practice some more. Don't rush it with your sticks. You will find a nice gental flick will give you the same results. :)

You can't really give tips for this game because it's all in the technique of the stick flicking. You just need to practice lots and I found that with Skate it's all trial and error, sometimes you can't replicate moves very easily. They are good games but the control system is flawed in my opinion.

I haven't played either of the Skate games, but they do sound a hell of a lot more satisfying than the Tony Hawk games.

You're just not good enough lol.

I can replicate a trick over and over (Or could when I was big into it)

Just takes loads of practice.

Edit: They are MUCH better than the Tony Hawks games.

theyre awesome if you like skating at all. very satisfying pulling off a difficult trick

tony hawks games are still fun though. in the ways that ssx and stuff is fun

Not played 2, but 1 has done my head in many a time having to do 1 hard trick to a certain grind, i can do each seperatly but could then never do both :p

Have don ethe X Games but on 1 now and have done the huge ramp in some guys back garden, not playe dit for a while though, need to get back into playing :D

You talking about the trick down ledge or the one at the matrix plaza? Both of them just slow you stick movement up and keep it slow and high. Simples :p

As a skater, I can't stress how good the control system is on this game.

It's very natural and nuanced, much like skateboarding itself.

I have played this game far far too much though. Can happily idle away a few hours trying a hard line of tricks that I could never dream of in real life!! :)

I should really play Skate 2 again, last time I played it I ended up rage quiting when I had to tailslide to gap to nose slide on 2 different objects in one combo.

Spent nearly an hour on it and could sense my controller was about to go flying if I didn't stop :p
