Skateboarding games?

Is there any decent modern skateboarding games for the PC?

I loved playing tony hawks 2 but i can't seem to find any similar games for the PC.

Any ideas anyone?

The Skate series are great, but im not sure if theyre on pc or not.

You pretty much have Tony hawks or Skate...but like Sam has said, dont think either are on PC now

There aren't any modern ones, you'll have to get a console. Skate series reigns supreme.

unless you can get a console controller to actually work on PC exactly as it does on console

Skate is better

there are 3 on ps3. not pc though.

Tony Hawks American Wasteland was on PC. I think it was the last Hawk game that was? It's a shame they not as good as they used to be. Skate is good, but its a very different type of game to the Tony Hawk games.

It's not really a sim, it's just much, much better. It's more like skateboarding and is much more rewarding. Tony Hawk ended at 4 really, the Undergrounds were ok and project 8 injected a tiny bit of life into the corpse but it was too late.

whats the best skate

I completed 1 and loved it I got 2 but couldnt get into it. I havent played 3

I would say each Skate has got progressively better, some disagree though. The first is definitely the 'purest' as it were. Each one has added more and made a couple of things easier that were very hard in the first (like vert skating) I'd say the second is the most enjoyable city to skate around.

They need to sort this out, I prefer PC games to console.
