Took some photos of friends skateboarding a couple of nights back. Was good fun - I shot mostly film, so it'll be interesting to see how they turned out...
I did shoot digi too, though. The whole gallery can be found here - here's my faves though. Nothing astounding, but it was a laugh

Would have been awesome if the roof was flat to show off the well defined shadow.

I wasn't particularly interested in making these clean or technically adept images - I just wanted them to feel fun and random :>

Remote flash is sooo much fun, and so quick n' easy!

Love #2 - remove the peice of paper on the floor, and thats a fab shot - really captures the movement - nice work all round

Five is really good but one is the winner for me! I really do like that shot. Kinda reminds me of a modern urban version of the Beatle's Abbey Road album cover.

5 is great! For the shadow shots, did you have your remote flash just a couple of metres to your right?

Yeah, AdWright. Off to the right and zoomed to about 70mm, so as not to illuminate everything, but just the skateboarder.
