Skitch Login Issues

Hey all,

I've posted this at the official forums, but it looks pretty dead there so it looks like my chance of a response is pretty low

So hopefully OcUK may be able to help me out...

I've been a member with Skitch.com since April last year - I was really happy when they released Skitch in the Mac App Store. So I bought it (It used to be £5.99 before it went free... :rolleyes:

).

Anyway, recently I noticed that any images I try and share with Skitch haven't been to my normal account. So I removed all the login details and started again and tried adding my Skitch account "MarkyUK".

However, it shows this:

Now I can't share anything as it comes up with an error (Something about wrong username/password?? I haven't been asked for a password :/) - And when I click "Personalise my account", it showing up as an anonymous account and begins the process of registering a new account...

Any help would be appreciated

I had this the other day.

Basically I deleted all logins then quit Skitch and reopened it.

I then made some naff picture and instead of like i was doing and in settings trying to enter my username clicked share.

Once I clicked that i was given the option of clicking login with Skitch or Evernote and then I chose Skitch and could enter my old login and not be assigned a temporary account.

That's done it perfectly

The reason for investigating this in the first place was I was wondering if there was a way to increase the quality of the images? I'm sure I've seen other images from Skitch of better quality than what I share

I've been using Skitch for years but didn't realise it was on the App Store. Is there any benefit to switching to that version?

As for quality, if you have .jpg selected, click the down triangle next to jpg and there's a quality option right at the bottom.

I don't think so - Other than updates through the App Store. I think at the time, when it cost it was a cheaper alternative to buying it through them.
