skitch replacement..

Hi

I need a quick a dirty program to grab shots and/or to upload pictures to a web server for sharing, just like skitch used to be before evernote has taken it over.

I really don't know why big companies take over small companies and make the software worst by adding bells and whistles that are really not needed. I've been using a very old version of skitch as it still allowed me to upload and share with a direct link, but now evernote as taken the feature away and I wont even go into what I think they done to the UI.

lol was just looking myself i hate Skitch now that Evernote have ruined it, before Skitch 2.0 it was great, theres a lot of hate towards it now with ratings and rants over at the forums, as for an alternative i haven't found anything yet

I've heard that Skitch have put an update forward to the Mac App Store which puts the old features back in. I greatly miss the menu bar icon!

I think its the site itself not giving/allowing direct picture url. I think you may get it if you upgrade to pro.

wow.. just worked out that you can do direct links to images with dropbox. just need to find something speed up the process
