Any info what is going to be in this new version they keep banging on about? The website has changed quite a bit and it's looking pretty good.

I don't like the new website. I couldn't find where to copy and paste the direct image link other than right clicking the uploaded image.
I also don't like the way it makes the image smaller.

I've resorted to using Imageshack. Fail Skitch, fail.

Both the client and website are being updated, website has been done, client version 1.0 is due very soon.

Took me a while, but you just click the one that says 'image' iirc and that gives you the image URL to stick in tags. I don't use their option for forum embedding because it adds a preview and the little "uploaded by Skitch" thing.

Edit - ah finally, you can upload through their website, really needed that the other day and couldn't find anything on the old website.

Not sure I'm liking it, some of the things it did before have now been moved over to the pay platform such as adding a drop shadow.

I like the ability to copy the link of the image page within Skitch, that's kind of cool...

I've just noticed that I can no longer change the font in Skitch after the latest update, I now require the PLUS version... I wouldn't care but it's a stupid cartoon font.

Still loving the app for snapping figures & diagrams & little odds and ends but that sucks

I logged in pressed a button, restarted app and bingo.

The title bar to skitch has a plus logo, and you can choose what the default copy to clipbaord image is, thumbnail, direct image etc
