hey guys, i remember reading in the middle of some random thread about Skittles Vodka, i wanted to make some tomorrow, and i hear you don't add the green ones? also anyone know how many Skittles is required, there seems to be mixed views on the net, and wanted to know from someone who has made, drank and lived to tell the tale...

thanks Jim

Tasted good even with the green'uns.

Allow for more than 2 days imo, and leave on a radiator to warm up abit as it will speed up the dissolving.

The green ones dont really ruin it as far as i could remember, although seperating the colours is what i did and i got a few nasty looking ones

(they still tasted fine)

Trebor extra strong mints is the best imho. (second from left)

^ That is my ingredients, with a total cost of around £5 :o

I only used the red and orange ones, and have shaken it a few times. It definitely smells fruity, but the smell of vodka is still obvious. Probably going to leave it for about a week, as suggested in the other thread.

well i have puked my guts out all day, i knocked back 1 litre to myself, bar a few swigs. never been so ill in my life today! i passed out at 4am and feel like my body is in a bad way....... don't say it.... i know i'm a fool!

OH GOD! Not Morinov! That is the fowlest vodka ever, you'd need to run it through a brita filter a few times for it to start tasting nice, if yours does end up alright I really hope you enjoy it though... :)
Haha that bad is it? I guess that explains why it was so cheap :D

It's had 4 days so far, may leave it till next weekend till I try it though

Skittle vodka is lovley, as is Fox's glacier mint vodka.
Just trying to locate some sour skittles for the next batch.
Also thinking about murray mints too...
