Anyone running a BLTouch on the SKR board?

Wiring mine up now but wondering if its best to replace the Z stop, or use that and the BLTouch...

Yeah thats how I have it wired up atm, using he z stop header, there is a 5 wire header on the board for touch sensors though, so I just wondered if one way or doing it was better than the other.

I had my cr touch connected to that port no issues.
Cr touch and bl touch are basically the same.
Just check the pinout

Seems theres an issue in the SKR default file, a bit of google'fu sorted it.
BLT was responding to pin_up pin_down as expected, but would fail to verify the sensor status.

Got it working a few minutes ago, just need to calibrate offsets and the likes now.

X Y and Z offsets calibrated, just doing a quick print, then a reboot just to check it all sticks.
PID is already done, then going to mess around with KAMP.
I have done some belt adjustments so really should run the resonance tests again to be sure.
Pressure advance, then I think we're about done config wise, then to see how fast she'll go before she flies apart...

So, rather than doing the resonanace tests, I did some bed mesh stuff.

First effort was 0.2950 range according to the first mesh I did, pretty happy with that...

Then I stumbled upon screws_tilt_calculate
So I did that..

And now my new mesh is 0.1588, so yeah, that works pretty well..

Have installed KAMP, but not done anything with it yet as got sidelined on the bed mesh/adjust stuff instead.

I'll have to do most of it again as the mainboard is currently sat next to the printer, so that needs putting back into its hole, then, as I'll no doubt knock things when I putting that back in, I'll do some bed mesh adjustments again, then resonance tests, then pressure advance, then speed tweaks...

screw tilt is one of the best features for bed slingers
0.1588 seems a bit much

I wouldn't bother with the whole mesh any way... just do adaptive before print

Yeah I've got KAMP on there for the adaptive mesh side of thing, the 0.1588mm is much better than it was before the screw tilt adjusting...

I still need to build everything back into the stock enclosure so will probably do that tomorrow and then I'll run a bit more calibration, its printing some stuff out at the mo so will see what its like after everything back together..

Looking a bit less stock now...
