Skt 939 heatsink on skt AM2 Cpu?

Hi,
Will a regular fitting 939 heatsink fit on an AM2 cpu?
I want to use the same kind of heatsink that I use now on the new board when I get it.
I never use any heatsinks that you fix to the motherboard it's self, only the kind where you hook the one side(3 holes)over and the other side has the one or three holes and a lever.
Will those kind fit ok?

I dont think they are compatible as i think the black square where the hsf sits on is a diff size.

It will be fine, in faxt im fairly sure the stock 939 and AM2 cooler are identical

they are, i've got a pair not 4 foot away, 1 from each

Ah ok cool. Thought they were slightly diff but guess not.
