Skulltrail i5?

Smells fake to me.

I thought Skulltrail was Xeon for enthusiasts a couple of years ago.

Plus I never trust listings where they list things you might search for:

New Intel Skulltrail 2500K Extreme 5.0GHz+ Core i5 - P67 Z68 1155 i7 2600K+

Isn't the cpu-z screen shot the give away?? Thats just a clocked 2500k....

And also the add doesn't look in the slightest bit real and buying expensive pc stuff of ebay is a mine field... And skull trail was dual cpu processor setup, and sandy-bridge-E is supposed to be the new dual cpu sandy bridge which isn't out yet (as the mac pro would have been updated with it).

This list goes on, but basically that ebay add is giving a few hundred quid to a 15 year old who's taken a fair few pictures off the net and hoped for the best.

Thought so, I wouldn't touch it just interested to see if anyone had any, not 100% sure on how easy i5's are to clock to 5ghz as I haven't searched it all yet, close to purchasing soon so I was just browsing prices on ebay and came across it and was wondering how true their statements were.

There's the new 2700k thats doing 5ghz which seems all popular, on that basis I'm guessing a 2500k making that is a bit more of an achievement...

I don't know much more as I don't have sb :( (being cheap and getting the one before it though!)

Not knowing the program I cant say but, erm, the G-flops shown are around half what i was seeing at 4.8GZ, I'm sure that is what I remember anyway.
