Sky+ and Channel 4

For a while now any recording of Channel 4 on my Sky+ box results in the sound randomly skipping.

It doesn't happen on any other channel, and is fine when watching live.

It hasn't really bothered me before, but watching 'My Name is Earl' resulted in every other joke skipping.

Anyone else having probs?

I have he Amstrad model, and the recent software update, but it has been doing it before the last release

Not channel 4, but E4 I get the same when recording stuff such as ER and lost, not just the sound but also the picture can skip ie bits of signal are lost. I have a Pace 3100 sky+ though. I know my skybox is dying however but I think whatever range C4,and E4 are broadcast on doesn't help.

I have the same trouble, but it's only been very recent. I've had my box for 18 months, without a hitch. so i'm guessing it's software related.

I was reading Digital Spy forums earlier today, and it seems to be a common problem with Amstrad V2s, Channel 4, Sky One and E4. They'd better fix it.

I have that aswell, tis rather annoying. Dont suppose Sky will replace the box over it?
