I bought a TV card from Overclockers a Compro Videomate T220 installed all the software as per instructions.

I watch Sky upstairs by way of a coax cable off the back of the Sky box, so I simply unplugged it from the TV and plugged it into the tv card. The result? Nothing. Black screen and no sound.

Am I wasting my time and actually trying to do the impossible? I've reinstalled the drivers so many times now, tried all the compatibility modes etc etc.

Finally got the software to work and got into the options. Scanned for Channels and it came up with 3 but all are blank with no sound.

Tried selecting Antennae and Cable but no joy on either.

I've tried every setting possible and nothing works. I'm wondering if this card just doesn't support it? If I plug tha cable into the RF input on the tv it works just fine, but not on this card.

Hi :)

On reading through the manual I think I may have found the problem. Apparently the T220 cannot take analogue signals and I believe that's what the cable would be providing?

Just an update. I ordered a Leadtek Winfast Palmtop DTV200H that's a hybrid analogue and digital external USB tuner. It works a treat, even works under Windows 7 build 7000 (did take ages for the install process to finish though)
