sky BB router, can it be made into a normal 834gt?

i have come across a sky 834gt router, but as i am not on sky BB i was wondering if it can be made into a standard 834gt? and if so how?

yep, you can. i have done it but i dont use it someone else does lol. I use my own.

As you can see from that link I am trying the same. Is the default username and password, `Admin` and `sky` for these?

If you succeed in doing this I would appreciate you tell me how and visa versa if I succeed I will advise you.

cyclopopcicle, download the firmware from netgear for that model (834gt).

--Download the firmware from here Version 1.02.04 --

-- Then download this file from netgear --
http://kbserver.netgear.com/release_notes/d102417.asp

Then follow the instructions on that page above......
and you will have a fully open DG834GT..good luck
