Saturday 26 May: Sky Bet League One Play-Off Final (17:00)
Sunday 27 May: Sky Bet League Two Play-Off Final (15:00)
Monday 28 May: Sky Bet Championship Play-Off Final (15:00)
The League One play-offs has unfortunately just become a pass for a team to spend a season or two struggling in the Championship only to come straight back down, the step up in finances required to compete means it's very difficult to stay there unless it's a big club that fell on hard times and somehow ended up in League One in the first place.
The gap between bottom half of the Premiership and top half of the Championship is far smaller I think. Football as a whole seems to have become an exercise in having the finances to be able to compete at any given level though.
I thought Charlton's keeper could have done better with the goal today, I don't understand why goalkeepers try to drop to the floor and save shots right next to them with their hands when they could just stick their foot out like De Gea tends to do. I would guess it's natural reaction and mental training but in those situations by the time they've fallen to the floor the ball has already gone underneath them.
Fulham should never have lost the first leg tbh. I really fear playing them in the final (if we get there), only saving grace is it's neutral territory.
