Hi folks,

Can someone advise me, We have three sky boxes in my house, I don't normally buy any extra events or movies. I was thinking of shelling out £15 to watch the Ricky Hatton fight - if I purchased it will I be able to watch it on any of the three boxes, for example my old man could watch it in the luunge and I could watch it in my bedroom, or will it be on the one I purchased it through and only that one.

Thanks

my poor old pops is visually impaired and has to sit nearly on top of the tv to be able to see it. that's whey he normally watches it on his own otherwise the rest of us could'nt see past his head, I suppose I could pay for it on one box and then sky+ it and watch it when I wanted to later.

Maybe you could ring them and ask them to do you a deal, but I have the feeling they won't buy it.

Can you not share the signal from the one box or connect two of the boxes together?

We have 2 boxes in our house and I pay for Setanta on my box and it doesn't work on my Dad's.

Probably the same with Box Office I would have thought.

Only way by this is to have a booster at the main tv which transmits sky through the house to the tvs through cables on a normal tv channel. Its what my house set up is like so all TVs can get the main sky from downstairs on any tv, i have my own sky multiroom box as well which doesn't interfere.

I know its a bit late for tonights boxing but is an idea for any future pvp events you want to watch, as means one purchase then sent through the house to all tvs.

Never, ever, EVER use Setanta.

The fight being on Sky Box Office is worth the £15 just because I don't have to deal with Setanta, but I digress.

It's a shame the PPV won't go round any other boxes on multiroom.. I had originally planned on ordering it myself tonight, ah well.

I suppose I could pay for one box with sky+ on it then replay it copying it to my panasonic dvdr recorder then play the disc on the other tvs, just a thought.

Better hope the ppv ain't using macro protection, if it does they normally only use it for the 1st 10mins though. ;)

Many years ago we had some friends round to watch a PPV fight (must have been Tyson ?) and I think even back then it was about £15 to watch.
We had all been out drinking and even more drinking back at our house, all the girls were fast asleep by the time it started at about 1 am and the fight lasted about 30 seconds ....never again will I pay to see a fight on PPV

Quick question to all who ordered the fight did You have to phone up sky to order it or did you look it up on your sky box and order it through that?? The reason I ask is because my dad phoned up to order it yesterday for his box and today i just went to the box office on my sky box choose the event and now im watching it with no phone call
