Sky box wireless

has anyone successfully connected a wireless bridge (non sky) to a sky hd box
if so
please enlighten me
i have bought an edimax access point for this purpose

Get it working on a PC first, then just move it over.

I'm not familiar with your Edimax, but on my d-link router I had to give it an IP address on the same subnet, turn off DHCP, enter the wireless password and SSID of my main router, and it sort of just worked from there.
