Sky dish connected to PC. Is it possible?

Hello, this forum always helps to find a solution, hope this helps now as well.

I've got a sky dish on my roof and a wire is running down the wall into a socket which is near my PC. Is it possible to connect sky dish into pc? I've got a 980ti sli if that helps.

What do I need to connect Sky to my PC and which port to use? Do I need to add a hardware to be capable?

You can connect a dish and get freesat, but not sky.

Why do.you want to connect it, maybe we can offer a bit more help?

S2, not T2

DVB-T/T2 is for aerial DVB-S/S2 is for satellite.

Right. I've an pci express slot available for this I guess. So I need S2 in order to connect cable into this card and get sky on my PC. Now then, do i need sky box as well?

You can't have sky on your computer as none of the cards have the capability to use subscription services like sky.

You can only get the free to air channels that are available through freesat

Don't forget you can get some SkyTV channels live through the SkyGo website.

Next year sky will also be looking to launch their subscription over the internet.
