Sky Fibre Optic

I may be slightly biased but I haven't had any problems that could be genuinely attributed to Sky rather than Openreach. OFCOM recently said that Sky have the highest and most consistent peak time speeds on Fibre than any other Network as well.

I've been getting packet loss all day today , the internet was down for serveral hours throughout the night

Anyone else noticed any Packet loss?

Fine here. The jitter I've got is Crashplan uploading.

Hi all,

I'm currently with BT for their 40mb fibre which has been great and without issue. I have decided to switch to Sky fibre so I could get a better deal and have all my bills in one place. However my wife has just told me how some friends of hers were moaning at how poor Sky BB was.

I was assuming I would be able to expect the same quality of BB as BT. Is there a chance that this will not be the case? Have I made a mistake?

Only annoying thing currently with Sky Fibre is that since the latest firmware for the SR102 most people are getting re-syncs every day or more often, when it was fine on the previous firmware.

As usual Sky won't admit there is a problem.

Can't say I've noticed anything and mine has been rock solid as per usual. No one has asked or mentioned it either. I've been testing the latest firmware prior to public rollout as not noticed anything either.
