Hi all,

Ive had Sky Fibre for over a year now and been fine with the service and very stable. When installed I got around 26Mbps down and 6Mbps up. Speaking with the openreach guy who installed it said this was normal for my area as it using aluminium cable and not copped!

Anyway I was adding a port to the router tonight and notice the sync speed has increased over the last 4 months or so and after 4 reboots stayed exactly the same:

Question is has the line improved over time somehow and I seem to be profiles at 30 down and 7 up? With the sync speeds being exactly the same after several reboots im thinking of speaking with sky and getting them to retrain my line to see if there is a cap on the speed due to previous poor line quality?

Sky have no control over the cabinet or line, it only goes onto Sky's network at the exchange. be happy with the increase, DLM will increase the speed if it can.

It will be G.inp thats has gone on teh line and its profiled seems very similar to mine as I'm 34999 and 8082 seems like its working fine, bet your ping is now lower aswell. :D
