Sky Go Abroad

Hello,

I've read you can now stream Sky when on holiday although some people seem to have problems so I thought I'd ask here...Has anyone used Sky Go in Europe successfully since it was allowed, April this year?

It should work without issue, as long as the IP you're connecting to is also Europe based. Hotels and free wifi hotspots can often go through non-EU servers and be detected as such. There's also a flag on your sky go account for EU roaming at Sky's end but it's on by default.

Yes I have. Also downloaded content and watched content live via a VPN as well.

Yep, streamed the F1 at our hotel in Majorca a few weeks back.

There is a 39 day limit so you can't use it abroad permanently.

Yep, used fine in Czech Republic recently to watch F1 although I only tried it about an hour into the race as I didn't realise you could do it.
