Sky HD - LCD TV - 2.1 System - Connection Query?

Slightly confused here guys:

We have a Samsung 40" LCD TV, we also have Sky HD and recently got a Samsung 2.1 System.

Both the Sky & 2.1 have HDMI out, so I connect them both via HDMI to the TV.

What about sound? Do I use a optical audio cable from the TV back to the 2.1?

EDIT: Or from Sky to 2.1?

Nope it doesn't ok so I use the optical cable from sky to 2.1.

This will result in us having to have the 2.1 on all the time, using the sky and 2.1 remotes?

Bought this, it arrived and my dad has constructed it, but now I'm left feeling pretty embarrassed because clearly we're missing something else!

What bracket is needed now? To me the vertical brackets slide onto the two rails so they need to be fastened to the TV but how? :confused:

No nuts & bolts are left, what is it I'm missing?!?

Aye just found out, now I'm on the google-hunt with our model number (LE40R87BD) for which type of bolts we need!

Hye guys

Finally got it all connected as advised, Sky / 2.1 both connected to TV via HDMI, optical sound from Sky to 2.1.

Wether I select the TV's internal mute or change the sky's menu to Dolby D no sound comes out of the 2.1 while in DIN mode?

Why? :confused:

It was the optical cable! must have been snapped somewhere, luckily I had another and voila it works! :cool:
