Sky Installation Time?

Hi,

I'm considering getting Sky+ in the new flat we're renting shortly and am wondering roughly how long it would take from ordering to having it installed. The broadband packages look well priced so I might consider getting that as well, but of course you need to be an exisiting sky customer first.

Any help would be appreciated.

Cheers.

Would totally depend on where you live, and then how long a piece of string is.
You could go via another company with independant installers and would probably get it in sooner. Some offer the exact same deals as Sky.

As you're renting check that it's ok to drill the flat up and have a dish mounted on the wall.

yeah shouldn't take too long mines took about a week to get in. Got it today wooo! Altough i am staff and was free ;) But normally they take a bit longer with staff. Shouldn't take much longer than a week or 2.

Ok. Thanks. Should give me enough time to settle on a big TV.

Are there any offers around for free installation or is all that's available the half price/free sports/movies for first few months?

right now sure you can get free movies or sports for 3/6 months. loads of leaflets floating about the work about it. See if i can find out for you.
