Has anyone does this with the netgear router that comes with Sky ISP?

If so can you advise me on how I should proceed?

Thanks

I think you log into the router- 192.168.0.1 (think, may be 1.1) User name and password ( think it's 'Admin' and 'Sky' ) You can check there website for these.
In the router you are looking for the DMZ. You will have to use static ip's i think and your xbox ip will be the same as the DMZ.

I am 99% certain that SKY provide a Netgear DG834GT with custom firmware.

I am unsure from your question what you actually want to do though. You have a done a 360 test and you have "strict" NAT and want to change this? Or you want your 360 in the DMZ? Or you want to forward ports so your NAT status is changed?

Thats correct.
Its their own firmware version, and a very poor firmware at that.
Flashing it with proper netgear firmware fixes a lot of the connection drop problems.
