I received a letter stating

"We're sorry you've decided to cancel your Sky talk and Sky Broadband..."

I contacted the number on the page 08442 410 499 and spoke to someone at Sky, they said to contact BT because another company is trying to take over my service and it was a slamming issue and BT needed to contact OFCOM (I have not spoke to any other company about other service)

I rang BT and waited for 30 minutes before I spoke to someone who then told me "The line is not with BT, Sky need to talk to OFCOM"

I rang Sky back, spoke to someone who gave me another number to call - 08442 410 499 (i didnt realised its the same one from the letter)

Rang back and spoke to a manager after queueing for 10 minutes and apparently its just the broadband another company is trying to take over. They cant cancel the cancel because I need to speak to the comany apparently.

I asked why they cant just cancel my phone line number and broadband, give me a new line and the other company will be left with a dead line.

It ended up being left with Sky and they have taken my mobile number and will contact me later when they hear something

Anyone else had this issue with Slamming, Ceases on lines and other companies take over service?
