I highly doubt it, QoS on the line itself is a business grade product. You're better off looking to buy a router that does local QoS. Anyway, VoIP uses ~ 64Kbps. Unless you're torrenting, you'll be fine.
I would really bother - as long as your workplace configure it for a low bandwidth codec you should be fine - I use a Cisco softphone on my work laptop over a vpn and it's pretty good unless I'm downloading something big.
