Hello

I have had my main sky box for 10+yrs and signed up for mulitroom(2nd box) in a deal. The problem, I was under the impression that after 12 months the phone line, could be unplugged, according to sky I must have both phone lines plugged in for good, in order to receive the multi room package, if not I have to pay for two full packages.

In the original agreement there is nothing I can find that says I must have both or even either phone lines plugged in indefinitely. I have just had it out with sky, and they remain unchanged.

Does anybody have any input, legal or otherwise

Thanks in advance

If you just have one sky box, you can unplug the phone after 12 months, with Multiroom, regardless of how long you have had Sky, you must have ALL boxes plugged into a working phone socket, this is so that Sky can check to make sure both boxes are at the same address, as you are in theory getting a second £38 subscription for a tenner.

Multiroom will come with a new agreement stating that you must have both boxes plugged in, if not they will send letters out, and eventually they will charge you the full subscription rate for both boxes.

Thanks for the input, I know why they need the call back, it is the period of time I have the problem with. The multiroom agreement it does not state I have to have them plugged in indefinitely.
