Hi all.

I've decided to change my Sky package a bit to get the sports back on. I used to be on a package that had Sports 1+2 and Movies 2, however according to the guy I talked to at the call centre there is no such package..

Just wondered if he's right or wrong? (I definatly was on that package before.. although it was probably a year or so ago)

I don't know if they've had it in the past, but as it is now you have to have all the movies channels together. Or not at all, of course.

Slightly off-topic...but if i were to buy a Sky digi box...could i just plug it into the satellite socket at my flat and i'll be able to get the terrestial (sp?) channels clear as day, for no charge other than the TV licence?

There's a TV ariel on the roof but its knackered or has a very very weak signal, and there's also a Sky dish up there...so it may be my only method of getting any TV !

Will it work?

Yes and no. You'll get the FTA channels, which are limited. You won't get ITV, Ch4 or five, for example. You would get all the BBC channels, and some other very random channels.

You can ring sky and pay a one off £20 for a card that'll let you get the remainder of the FTV channels, and you would only need to pay the TV License after that.
